Practical Skills ![]() Open only to those who have completed an Introductory Course 14 weekends (or 168 hours) This part of the course focuses on developing increased skill and sensitivity in practical skills to Shiatsu Society standards. You will refine your diagnostic skills and learn Masunaga's meridian system. The most popular style of shiatsu in Britain is Masunaga's and during this year you will refine the tools of practical diagnosis and learn his extended Meridian system with relevant visualisation techniques and meditation. Syllabus will include: - The Form in side position - Masunaga's meridian system - Palm Healing - Refining Practical Skills acquired in the Foundation Course - Physiology - Self Management - Counselling - Introduction to Clinic work During the course you are required to complete 100 shiatsu treatments, two case studies. |
